04.18.2008 - A double victory
The matches of the major league have returned, for the women as for the men.
The last day of Championship presented the men team led by Errigo and the Sicilian team of Messina.
The lines-up of the evening showed many surprises, Alberto Redini (A), Sun Jianfei (B) and Roko Tosic (C) for Sterilgarda, Sabatino Daniele (X), Guo Jinhao (Y) and Oye Bode Michael (Z) for the hosted club.
This time the Chinese of Messina did not managed to repeat the positive result of the first round, this also due to the first victory thanks to an able Alberto Redini, who win 3 to 2 against Daniele Sabatino.
The next challenge opposed Sun Jianfei to Guo Jinhao: the former dominated the match and gain a 3-1 victory.
Tosic, last but not least, seemed to have a few difficulties in facing Oye Bode, but after a situation of standoff he managed to end his games and the whole match.
The women of the major league were engaged in one of the last matches, this time in San Donato Milanese. They played perfectly, despite the absence of Steff and Monfardini.
The line-up showing Qi Rong (A), Nikoleta Stefanova (B) and Laura Negrisoli (C) was opposed to the opposing team headed by Dubai, with Dodean (X), Zhang Xiaowu (Y) and Ding Yan (Z).
The beginning saw Qi Rong winning with a clear 3 to 0 against Dodean.
The next match opposing Nikoleta to Zhang Xiaowu: lasted until the 4th and 5th game, which anyway were won by our great player.
Intense was the following fight against Laura and Ding Yan, but finally the former one managed to stand out.
Also the women team is now focused on the playoff and aims at winning the national championship, the second goal, after the defeat in the semi-finals of European Champions League.
