Laura Negrisoli undertook the first two matches, which let her qualify for the Olimpic Games. She won 4-1 against Hadacova (CZE) and 4-3 against Kassabova (BUL). Nikoleta Stefanova, as for her advanced position on the world ranking, will play on Saturday 10 against the winners of the first round.
