WIth the arrival of the last player, the Portuguese Joao Monteiro, the First Men Team, that will compete in the Italian Championship and in the Champions League, has been completed.
Honoured to wear the uniform of Sterilgarda Tennistavolo, Joao is likely to improve his personal palmaress. His intentions were well explained in the morning, as he admitted on the phone "I've chosen one of the top clubs for sure, so few are the ones which gives you the oppurtunity for a daily training, with such a high technical level.".
Joao will be an important figure for the team, made up also by Mihai Bobocica and Guo Jinhao, lead by the trainer Yang Min.

- n° 59 of the world ranking, 25th in Europe
- 3rd place in singular at Slovenian Open
- 3rd place in singular at Chile Open
- twice 3rd place men double at Chile Open
- 1st place men double at Brazil open
- winner in singular at Mediterranean Games
- 2nd place senior at Danish Open
- 2nd place senior at German Open
- 3rd place senior at Slovenian Open
- 6 times singular Portugal Champion
- First Portuguese ever qualified to the Olimpic Games
