10.19.2008 - Many waisted scores
In this second day of Champions League, Yang Min's team was engaged in the match against Budapest: they wanted to be reckoned as a dangerous team. Many waisted scores led our boys to a defeat for 3-1.
The match began positively, with Monteiro winner against Nagy and obtaining the first score.
In the next turn, Guo Jinhao had to face a very fit Persson, who made him surrender although struggling.
But the turning-point was represented by the third match, Mihai Bobocica opposed to Daniel Zwickl. Bobo gave up in the first game, but then recovered and dominated until the third game, 8-3 in his behalf: but from this moment, he surrendered to the adversary. The same happened in the following game, with Bobo leading 9 to 6 and suddenly loosing the whole match.
With a 2-1 score, Monteiro aimed at overreaching a strong Persson. Joao played every single score with great ability, but unfortunately he had to surrender 3-0.
After this competition, the men team is now called to play in the first day of Italian Championship, on Tuesday the 21st at 20:00, against the team of Turin.
