05.09.2010 - Twice champions
Returning back to the greatest titles, we have obtained both. This is what we have gained this season, differently from last year when, after some time, we returned with the Men team on the first step but loosing the Women's title (this last was a habit for us!).
This year has succesfully completed, both teams have gained the very first place within Italian Team Championships, the most important and deserved merit.
Sterilgarda Men Team has conquered last Friday the 2010 Championship shield in the home match against A4 Tonoli Caffè Excelsior, winning 4-2. The group guided by Yang Min has conquered the important scores thanks to Guo Jinhao, triumpher against Piacentini (3-2) and Zhao (same score), thanks to Joao Monteiro and finally to Bobocica. Deep enthusiasm for the local supporters who applauded our club all match long.
On the other hand the Women team, determined, ready and willing to win, has won its thirteenth shield with the 4-1 victory of the away match against Sandonatese, defeated also in the home match for 4-0. The initial score obtained by the adversary Jang Huaj against our Yang Xiaoxin was the sole satisfaction for the opposing team: the real crucial match was that dominated by Niko Stefanova who faced Elizabeta Samara. The rest of the match was easily ruled, we have out-matched, we have deserved our prize. This has been a fabolous year for us with two Champions league's semi-finals, two shields, many other titles by our young athletes, the qualification of Leonardo Mutti at Youth Olympic Games.
We boast a rich curriculum in the maximum levels; the merit is to share among all people who cooperate for our great club and all its prizes, from the sponsors to the supporters, but Yang Min over all has contributed with a significant help to keep on serenely and with self-confidence.
