01.16.2012 - Two victories, first defeat for Men in A1
Back on stage in this first day of A1 Championship our A1 Men and Women and A2 Men teams.
The great performance of Mihai Bobocica, ex Sterilgarda and now playing in Siracusa, enabled his team to inflict the first defeat to our team, still leading the Championship.
Bobocica obtained 2 scores beating both the English Drinkhall, after a hard-fought match ended 3-2, and the first-rate Chinese Zhu Zhou, undefeated till now. Further scores by Siracusa by Zwickl and Piacentini, both against Marco Rech. For Sterilgarda, who maintains the first place although this lost, scores were obtained by Zhu Zhou over Piacentini after a majestic 3-2 and by Drinkhall against Zwickl.
Our Women team, that strongly maintains the second place, easily overcame Regaldi Novara: 2 matches won by Vivarelli, one by Monfardini and one by Wu Qiong.
A further victory has recorded in the A2 Men team, still standing at the ranking top, over Libertas Challant which suffered a defeat 4-1 with 2 scores by Leonardo Mutti and two by Damiano Seretti.
